Dr. Siddiqui

Dr. Shazia Siddiqui is the founder and leader of Lafayette Pain Care. Board certified in Pain Medicine, Dr. Shazia is an expert in treating acute and chronic pain in adults and children. She combines heart-felt compassion for her patients with knowledge of the latest treatments, such as spinal cord stimulation implants and pain medication therapy, including opiates. Her training includes:

  • Fellowship in Pain Management Baystate Medical Center Springfield, Massachusetts
  • Residency in Anesthesiology Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Miami, Florida

Dr. Siddiqui has published numerous articles on pain management topics. She is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians

Dr. Devries

Dr. Matthew DeVries is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and fellowship-trained Pain Management specialist. He completed his intern year at the University of Cincinnati before completing his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He stayed on to complete his Interventional Pain Management fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. During his time in fellowship, he utilized the latest advancements in chronic pain management including spine and joint interventions, medication management, and advanced neuromodulation. He has presented at numerous pain management societies and continues to learn the latest interventional techniques for the management of chronic pain

Laura Peacock, NP

Laura is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in pain management at Lafayette Pain Care. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Purdue Calumet in Hammond, Indiana and later completed her Master of Science at South University in Savannah, Georgia. She holds a national board certification with the American Associates of Nurse Practitioners. She has 24 years of nursing experience in a variety of settings including long term care, emergency medicine, family practice, nursing educator, and pain management. She works directly with the person who suffers from chronic pain to develop interventions and strategies to decrease pain intensity and improve physical functional ability. She utilizes an interdisciplinary approach to offer assessment, treatment, communication, education, and follow up.

Nathan Wheeler, AGACNP-BC

Nathan is an Adult Gerontological Acute Care nurse practitioner who specializes in pain management at Lafayette Pain Care. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Lakeview College of Nursing in Charleston, IL and later completed his Master of Science at Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. Nathan holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He has over 20 years of experience in a variety of settings including orthopedic medicine, intensive care, emergency room, supervisory positions, and internal medicine. Nathan enjoys many outdoor activities and is active with Boy Scouts in Russiaville, IN. Nathan works one on one with patients who suffer from various pain aliments to develop a holistic, collaborative, and patient centered plan of care. He will strive to improve the quality of life for his patients through Lafayette Pain Cares' diverse pain management strategies and educational resources.

Dr. Khan

Dr. Khan, originally from Chicago, brings over 16 years of experience in anesthesiology, having trained at DMC in Detroit and practiced at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Indiana. After earning his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University and medical degree from St. George’s University, he transitioned to interventional pain management to better serve patients with chronic pain.

An active family man, he enjoys youth sports with his wife and two children, and is passionate about hiking, with a goal to visit all U.S. national parks. His favorite local hike is at Turkey Run State Park, reflecting his love for the outdoors. He is excited to connect with patients at Lafayette Pain Care to provide compassionate, personalized care.

"My approach combines my 16 years of anesthesiology expertise with advanced procedures like nerve blocks, epidural injections, and spinal cord stimulation to address conditions such as back pain, arthritis, and neuropathic pain. I prioritize understanding each patient’s unique needs, integrating physical therapy and lifestyle changes to optimize outcomes."

Tesha Hardy, NP

Tesha Hardy, AGCPNP- BC, has been in the field of nursing since 2007 with focal points being in long-term care - Adults and Geriatrics. She graduated from Purdue University with a Master of Science in Nursing with a concentration in Adult Geriatric Primary Care. She is now a committed and active nurse practitioner in the Greater Lafayette community.
