What to Expect from a Sacroiliac Joint Steroid Injection
Like many procedures treating leg and lower back pain, this is an outpatient procedure using local anesthetic. First, we’ll use a needle and contrast liquid to ensure proper placement. Then, we’ll inject the medicine into your joint.
In a few days, you’ll notice improvement as a result of the injection. This lasts for several weeks to several months, and you can repeat injections as needed.
